I was born and have lived in Brighton all my life so moving out and coming to Leeds was an exciting change. One of the things that drew me to Leeds was it had a good art and design community, with gallery's, print shops and exhibitions and its active night life.
Had never really used adobe software. Wasn't expanding my skills – little variation in work. Over this year I have been exposed to loads of new designers and creative processes.

Strengths/Weaknesses
Strengths/Weaknesses
Strengths:
Open to learning
Experimental work
Range of ideas/concepts
Non-digital processes
Attention to detail
Weaknesses:
Not sticking to briefs
Time management
Developmental work
Talking about own work
Mistakes
Blogging
Not allowing enough time to produce final designs
Not getting enough feedback on work
How can I learn from them?
Blog as soon as possible
Book print slots in advance
Independent crits
The Future
Gain some work experience over the summer
Visiting Amsterdam
Next year produce a higher standard and larger quantity of work
Ideal job would be working for a design group where I can have a strong creative input.

Personal Branding
Experimenting with digital renders of my logo ideas, I wanted it to feature my name to make it personal and clear that it was my own brand.

Secret 7"
Secret 7" Exhibition
SECRET 7" IS AN ANNUAL EVENT THAT COMBINES MUSIC AND ART FOR A GOOD CAUSE.
We take 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and press each one 100 times to 7" vinyl. We then invite creatives from around the world to interpret the tracks in their own style, resulting in a one-of-a-kind sleeve for every 7”. The creatives are made up of famous names through to gems we unearth through artwork submitted to us here on our website.
Going down to Secret 7's exhibition in April was a great experience and a good opportunity to meet different artists and designers. This was the first time I have had work in a public show and one of my designs sold.

Dialogue
Yoke, made up of designers Eve Warren and Nathan Bolton, asked a variety of creatives and studios to submit work that would be used in a collaborative way, to be showcased in a final exhibition called Dialogue. Each designer consented to this, with the understanding they would not be able to choose their creative partners

I entered one of my own Dialogue designs and it was great going to the exhibition to see who's it had been matched with. Above are a few of the prints I like the most.
